We received a First Place Award and three Awards of Merit for portraits entered in competition at the Florida Professional Photographers Convention in Orlando. In addition, all six of our entries were chosen for the prestigious Salon Exhibition.

A watercolor portrait of Sophia and Collin Brady walking at the water's edge at sunset, titled "Nature Walk", received a Merit Award. They are the children of Brian and Ursula Brady of Owosso, Michigan and the great-grandchildren of Mrs. Norma Fach of Sarasota.

The third award-winning portrait is of Kaitlin, Molly and Emily Harding, daughters of James and Pam Harding of Sarasota, looking at a seashell by the light of the setting sun titled "Shared Treasure".

Earlier in the year we received two Awards of Merit at the Children Photographers International competition held in Nashville. One of the Award of Merit portraits was a mother and child image created of Tracy Jordan and daughter Paige Elisabeth presented in a black and white charcoal effect.

The other awarded image was a color portrait of three year old Jacqueline Eva Sewell in a garden setting. She is the daughter of Dr. Jack and Cheryl Sewell.
